African Drums Information

The djembe with its wide range of tones is West Africa's most popular drum. Carved from sustainable solid African cedar wood the Atlas Djembe is an impressive and loud instrument. Talking drums are played under the arm with a hooked beater. See the related Tuned Percussion page for more African percussion.
